Secrets of Vonyarcvashegy by E-Bike: The Thrills of Open Gate Days 2026! 🚴

The western shore of Lake Balaton awaits two-wheeled adventurers with special programs this spring as well. The West Balaton Treasures E-Bike Tour starting from Vonyarcvashegy is a perfect opportunity to discover the hidden gems around the lakeside settlements by electric bicycle.

The meeting point in April will be at the Tourinform office in Vonyarcvashegy, at 42 Kossuth Street, at 10 a.m. During the approximately 45-50 km, 6-hour tour, we will spend 3-4 hours pedaling while enjoying the Zala hills and the distant view of Lake Balaton on the roads leading toward Rezi.

One of the highlights is the CseRo Sajt-Manufaktúra in Rezi, where between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. we can get acquainted with delicacies made in a former press house. Friendly cows, soul-soothing panorama and freshly made cheeses await us in the most beautiful part of the settlement 🧀. On site, a cheesy hot sandwich menu (4000 Ft), a walking cheese selection (1700 Ft) and dessert (800 Ft) are also available.

These e-bike tours to local producers not only offer movement and fresh air, but also directly support the economies around Lake Balaton. Participants can enjoy the proximity of nature and the authentic flavors of the region at the same time.
