NAV-ellenőrök lángosoztak és SUP-oztak a Balatonnál? 🕵️

Did NAV inspectors eat lángos and go SUPing at Lake Balaton? 🕵️

Lake Balaton-side vacationers and restaurateurs can also expect the increased presence of the NAV this summer. Since the beginning of July, the inspectors have checked the businesses, beach buffets, and tourist service providers around the lake 1480 times, and found deficiencies in more than one-fifth of the cases. 🌊 The inspectors not only visited the classic catering establishments but also actively used services such as SUP rental, quad tours, or local taxi rides. This way, they could experience first-hand whether the rules for issuing receipts and using cash registers are being followed by the Balaton businesses. The most common problems were still the failure to issue receipts and violations of employment rules – there were cash sales without receipts, as well as incomplete use of online cash registers. Fines of up to two million forints or temporary closure may be imposed for irregularities. This strict action protects honest Balaton businesses and guarantees that vacationers receive a legal invoice for lángos or water bikes. The NAV emphasizes that the inspections will continue until the end of the season, so service providers around the lake should pay attention to compliance with the rules even in August. For locals and returning guests, this could mean a more reliable and transparent Balaton vacation in the long term.
