Balatoni testvérpár lett az Anna-bál új szépe ✨

Balaton siblings become the new beauty of the Anna Ball ✨

BalatonLife

Balatonfüred once again took center stage at this year's Anna Ball, where one of the locals' prides, 18-year-old Windisch Laura, became the ball queen. With this, the young person from the lakeside settlement further strengthened the traditional event's local ties, which attracts visitors to the northern shore of Lake Balaton and families from the area year after year.

Among the ball's beauties, Laura's sister Windisch Regina won the title of second lady-in-waiting, while the first lady-in-waiting was Viktória Tollas from Debrecen. Based on the professional jury's decision, the sibling pair stood out from the field of fifteen, which was compiled with votes from the ball audience. Laura already appeared as first lady-in-waiting last year at the 200th anniversary Anna Ball, so this year she reached the top – all this is a special joy for the Balatonfüred community, as the girls are connected to the settlement.

At the Saturday event, the organizers emphasized that the Anna Ball should be about culture, dance and preserving traditions. Ágnes Forsthoffer did not accept the invitation as patron, but the parliamentary speaker temporarily performing the duties of the president of the republic – who is also the representative of the Balatonfüred constituency – confirmed on her social media page that the ball should be about the radiant faces of the young people and the pride of the parents, not about politics.

For the settlements along Lake Balaton, such evenings mean not only entertainment but also a tourist attraction: visitors often stay longer by the lake, exploring the Füred promenade or the nearby beaches. The success of the Windisch siblings thus also strengthens local identity and will hopefully inspire more young people to attend the Anna Balls in the coming years. 💃🌊
