On 10 May 2026 at Balaton Park Circuit near Balatonfüred a rival knocked the bike from under Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira and the machine fell on him. Witnesses said the crash looked spectacular, but Oliveira reacted quickly and medics treated him immediately before hospital transfer for further examination.
