In the quiet settlement of Tab on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, flames broke out in an eighty-square-meter outbuilding on Saturday evening, drawing attention to the summer fire danger around the lake. 🔥 Fortunately, the incident on Óvoda Street did not cause any personal injuries, but it is a warning sign for the local community and vacationers as well, since Tab is located in the neighborhood of Siófok, where wooden houses and garden buildings are common in the holiday areas of Balaton.

The fire spread quickly, destroying the outbuilding in its entirety. In addition to the professional firefighters from Siófok, the municipal firefighters from Tabi also rushed to the scene and put out the flames with six water jets.
