Dramatic accident in Gógánfa! 🚗💥

A serious road accident occurred Tuesday evening in Gógánfa on the western Balaton Uplands, affecting holidaymakers and locals on roads around the lake. On Vasút Street a van collided with a tractor-towed grader, then slid into a ditch. 🚗💥

Accident details: The sole driver fortunately escaped the wreck; no serious injuries reported yet. Municipal firefighters from Sümeg were alerted, de-energised the van and began clearing the traffic obstruction. Gógánfa, a quiet village near Sümeg on the northern Balaton fringe, sees agricultural machinery often during harvest season.
