Dramatic accident near Balatonberény: car in ditch on road 76 🚨

A traffic accident near Balatonberény on the southern shore took place at kilometre 1 of main road 76. 🚗 It shows how important safe driving is on routes to the lake, especially in summer when guests flood the area.

A car left the road for unknown reasons and drove into a ditch. Only the driver was inside and was not seriously injured. Balatonberény volunteer firefighters arrived first and de-energised the vehicle to prevent further danger.

Keszthely professional firefighters and partner services secured the scene quickly. Fortunately the incident did not block traffic towards the Balaton, but such cases always remind us of road conditions and driver attention.

Road 76 is a key link between southern shore towns including Balatonberény, Balatonszentgyörgy and Keszthely. For locals and holidaymakers these sections must stay safe when tourist traffic peaks in summer.
