Basalt Days — Badacsonytördemic

The volcanic heritage of the Balaton Uplands comes alive at Basalt Days 2026. Starting on 1 July, this cultural festival brings colourful programmes across the Balaton region so visitors can discover the history and treasures of the basalt landscape up close.

Concerts, art exhibitions, gastronomy demos and hikes are offered in lakeside towns and nearby basalt areas around Badacsony, Szent György Hill and Tapolca. Opening day on 1 July already features exciting performances and evening concerts for a full taste of local culture in one day.

It is worth coming because Basalt Days entertain and educate: local traditions, winemaking and natural values create an experience you can only have at Lake Balaton. Family-friendly programmes promise meaningful relaxation in the best weeks of summer.

Don't miss Basalt Days 2026 — see you at Lake Balaton!
